Its demographics are as follows; 92.95% Caucasian; 2.38% African American; 0.34% American Indian; 4.25% Asian American; 0.50% Mixed. Oregon has a population that is mostly populated within the Willamette Valley. The largest city in the state is Portland with a population of 568,380, followed by Euguene with 153, 690, then Salem with 152,290.
Oregon has a generally mild climate with temperatures ranging from 14-48 degrees in the winter and 46-90 degrees in the summer. Precipitation varies depending upon where in the state you live with desert location only getting about 8 inches of rain per year, while coastal area receive upwards of 200 inches.
