
New Hampshire is located in the New England area of the United States and is the 46th largest state in the United States by area. New Hampshire is one of the original thirteen states that founded the United States of America and it was the ninth state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.
The state’s total population is around 1,315,828 which make it the 41st most populated state in the nation with a median income of $60,441 ranking it at 20th nationally. Its demographics are as follows; 96.97% White American; 1.29% African American; 0.63% American Indian; 2.04% Asian American; 0.07% Mixed. The economy for this state is based upon major industries such as dairy, apples, eggs, rubber, plastic and machinery to name a few. New Hampshire’s gross state product is estimated at $49 billion. The per capita personal income is estimated at $37,935 ranking it at 6th in the nation.
New Hampshire’s metropolitan areas are known as New England City and Town Areas according to the U.S. Census. Some of the metropolitan areas found in the state are; Berlin, Claremont, Concord, Franklin, Keene, Lebanon and Manchester.
The state has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, wet winters. The precipitation for the state is uniform year round. In mid summer temperatures range from the mid 70’s to the mid 80’s and in the mid winter temperatures range from 0 degrees to 34 degrees.
