Indiana is also known as “The Hoosier State” and it is located in the Midwestern area of the United States.  In the summer months temperatures run from 62-89 degrees while in the winter they are from 16-40 degrees.

The state’s personal income tax rate is about 3.4% with sales tax at about 7%. Some of the largest companies operating in the state are Eli Lilly, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bayer and Elkhart.

Some of the largest cities located in Indiana are; Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, South Bend and Gary.

Indiana’s long time history with auto racing continues every year when the city hosts the Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. NASCAR also holds the Allstate 400 and the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.
