Santa Rosa is the largest city in California’s wine country area as well as the largest in Sonoma County. It also is the fifth largest in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is the twelfth largest city in the state and the 104th in the United States of America.
Santa Rosa is highly known for its location in the wine country. People come from all over to see and partake in the delicious Sonoma County wines. Local wineries near Santa Rosa include the Russian River Resort. Other local attractions include Redwood Empire Ice Arena, Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, Annadel State Park, Spring Lake Regional Park.
The neighborhoods of Santa Rosa include Downtown Santa Rosa which features the old courthouse square, home to many business meetings. The railroad square is also another area located off of Route 101 and is easily accessible to Sonoma and Windsor. Santa Rosa is highly known for its wine tasting and nearby Sonoma County. However, there is much to do in Santa Rosa including visiting many of the local museums and take tours of the wine vineyards. Santa Rosa is a beautiful place to visit and a beautiful place to live.
