San Jose is the third largest city in the state of CA and is located in Santa Clara County. It is located at the end of the San Francisco Bay Area otherwise known as Silicon Valley. San Jose is the tenth largest city in the United States of America and the largest city in Northern California.
San Jose’s culture is very much involved with the arts, including art displays in the international airport. Many museums are currently being built in the city including a discovery children’s museum. Silicon Valley has many performing arts centers for ballet and other types of art. Sports in the city include the San Jose Sharks, San Jose Earthquakes, and the San Francisco Dragons.
The neighborhoods of San Jose border the Downtown Historic District which is very small. This is known to be one of the most historically known places in the world. Other parts of San Jose include Alum Rock, Cambrian Park, Willow Glen, East San Jose, and Alviso. Neighborhoods in East San Jose include King and Story, Alum Rock, Little Portugal, and East Foothills. Alviso is the most southern tip in San Jose bordering San Francisco. San Jose is a charming city with a lot of culture to offer.
