The largest driving force for the economy in Los Angeles is actually not the entertainment industry, but international trade. The entertainment industry comes in second even though Los Angeles is the world leader in producing popular entertainment, followed by aerospace and technology to name a few. The combined ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach make up the fifth busiest port area in the country and the largest in the western hemisphere.

Night time hot spots abound in Los Angeles and it is the home for movie stars and celebrities to go out and light up the town. Downtown Los Angeles, Silver Lake, Hollywood and West Hollywood are some of the more famous areas to go with West Hollywood being the home of the famous Sunset Strip.
